Metrics for Circular Construction
Introduction
What will be the episode about ?
Buildings are complex and making them circular requires a large amount of information. However, the required data is not always easily accessible or available and sometimes the parameters are not yet defined. Hence, how do you collect reliable data and ensure its management over time?
Together they discuss relevant parameters for circular buildings, where, when and how to collect, store and manage data.
This episode was researched, written, produced and edited by Océane Sanglard, Dr. Verena Göswein, Ana Mestre and Henrique Duarte.
Moderator
Who will moderate the discussion ?
Verena is a senior consultant at 3drivers and the project manager of Circular EcoBIM. Her interdisciplinary research improves the understanding of sustainable construction materials considering different spatial and temporal dynamics. Besides her work at 3drivers, she is a post-doctoral research associate at the Chair of Sustainable Construction at ETH Zurich. Moreover, Verena is an ESG manager at FREO Group, an international real estate developer.
Guests
Who will take part in the discussion?
Professor at NTNU, researcher and consultant, his work and research focus on Sustainable Infrastructure. A Natural scientist by training, he is particularly interested in the question of materials, flows and impacts of the Architectural Engineering and Construction industry.
Founder of Reduzer AS. Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, and Architecture at NTNU and DTU. Eirik Resch is a researcher specializing in analytical analysis and mathematical modeling of complex built environment systems and their energy and environmental impacts.
